I have never looked or thought about ECR in this way. It takes about 2 – 3 hours for me to reach Chennai from Pondicherry or Pondicherry from Chennai. That is a good amount of time that we would be spending in a restaurant or any decent place.

I looked at it that way when I entered the ECR at the Pondicherry side today, and started enjoying every millimetere of the road. Im a big rodie for atleast the past 10 years. On bikes and on cars. Im on my year old Pulsar 180 these days, and the speedometre is not working currently, and I had no idea how fast I was travelling.

I reached chennain in about 2hours. And the lighting from the evening sun, the warmth of the month of March, and the clean and shiney road, beautiful cars and bikes racing on the road, was really a sight to see. I dont think I have enjoyed this much while traveling on this road any time in the past 4 years.

The climate these days here in Pondicherry is lovely. The monsoons are here, with a lovely temperature all around us, and great lighting from the shadowy skies. When I turn on the AC in my room, I begin to shiver, and it keeps on reminding me of the trip that we took to Mavelikara last week for an asset recovery case that is pending there. Though we travelled in an air conditioned coach, myself and my brother prefered to stand outside and watch the greenary there. it was lovely, and right now the climate keeps on reminding me of the day that we spent there, the place of our birth.

I had gone to Kerala with my brother, and when I had come back, I couldn’t resist shopping at Chennai. Chennai is such a lovely place, though a bit dirty and all, it is great for shopping. We did get into a good garments shop and bought afew things for ourselves, and went over to spencer plaza, where I picked up a few things for my baby, and got myself a pair of ultra sexy shoes.

I have been sticking to formal and semi formal shoes all these days, and I have never tried any sexy sort of shoes that is a bit out of the way, and I really think that the shoes are quite sexy.
