Harley Davidson

Harley Davidson is to the Americans what Bullet is to India. Harley is naturally a more powerful motor cycle thanks to the good American roads and bikers. But unlike the bullet, the design has changed a lot. In early days the engine used to be mounted on the front wheel, and the backwheel was completely free, just like the front wheel of the bikes today.

Spare parts of those motorcycles are rarely available today. Though luckily there are a few websites that sell Harley parts, which you can count on. Thanks to the ecommerce revolution, you will find everything that you want on the internet before you have to go to a local store.

The Royal Enfield Bullet

A motorcycle that was designed over a hundred years ago, has served for the British Army, has served the Indian Army, comes with 350 CC of raw power, and the basic design hasn’t changed one bit in all these years. Thats the Bullet, and I am buying one of those. It is in production in India, and most of the vehicles that are manufactured are exported, and only a very few is bding sold in India, and there is absolutely no advertisments.

I am interested in the model called the Thunderbird, and I would be going for it some time next month. It is a 500 CC motor cycle and has got a top speed of 180 Km per hour, that means you could reach Chennai from Pondicherry is a little over an hour, provided you have a good eyesight and a bit of luck that you dont hit any of the bulls or stray dogs that cross the ECR.

How to keep your PC Clean (Hardware side)

Big Fuckin Deal. Even a kid knows how to keep a PC clean. You think so? Well, read this. The parts that get more dirty on a desktop PC are your keyboard and mouse. Any part that your hands touch get dirty, and any part that your hands dont touch get dusty.

For the heavy typer like me, the keyboard always appears to be polished. But it is not the matte that is made glossy, but its oil from your hands. That needs to be cleaned. If you dont have an expensive keyboard, it is advisable to replace your keyboards once in 3 months. If you have an expensive keyboard, $50 and above, then, you need to take good care of it. It is, after all, $50.

Dust gets beneath the keys, so removing the keys one by one, cleaning below and replacing the keys is a hectic job, but if you think its worth it, you could do it. Otherwise just clean the top of the keys with some surface polishing liquid.

The base of the mouse always gets dirty. Something sticky always forms at the resting points of the mouse. That needs to be cleaned. Ball mouse are extinct. If they were there, you would have had to remove the ball and clean the rollers that would be inside it. Now, you just need to clean the lens.

Do this once in a while, and you will find things working perfectly.

The keyboard dust removing vaccuam cleaners never work. So dont bother wasting money in that. Only manual cleaning helps.

If you have got your CPU in a dusty place, you certainly will find dust. And dust is not good for the motherboard and any device that is inside the cpu. If dust accumilates too much around the fan area and if it stops, you will never know but hear a small explosive sound, and your pc will go blank. If you open the cpu, u will find a cracked and smoking processor and a stopped fan.

Dont blow. Use a clean white cloth to remove all dust from the insides and all the parts.

It is always advisable to use dust covers on the PC whe its not working. Or if you are a guy like me, who lets his computers run round the clock, you cant do that. So find time when you are free to dismantle the cpu, and dust it.
