Travelling away from home

A human needs a vacation once in a while. Even workaholics do need vacations. Doing routiene things every day can make life really boring. We all need a break. It is always necessary to keep aside some money for a vacation every six months or at least once every year. Take a break for some fifteen days, and that should recharge you for spending time with your work for the rest of the year.

Darn, I hate Travelling

Pondicherry seems to be a very far away place. The nearest airport is 3 hours away, and so is the nearest railway station. Everything is in Chennai, and everything thats there in Pondicherry is just namesake. A stupid dumbass airport, and a railway station that has about 2 trains a day, the counter of which is primarily used for booking tickets from Chennai to everywhere else.

I am having to travel to a place called Mavelikara, and the only way I can reach there is to travel to Chennai and take a train. Im sure that the travel from Chennai to Mavelikara and back would be very comfortable, but the journey from Pondicherry to Chennai is the worst part. You will have to take a slow moving bus or shell out about Rs 2000 to get a taxi. Im a poor man and I dont have a car, and I dont really want to tire myself riding my bike all the way.

Travelling and Health

Travelling could most of the times be synonymous with bad health. Change in weather, drinking water and even the air you breath could bring sickness. And, travelling always makes you tired, and your health could get worse. And when you are travelling, you might be travelling with limited amounts of money, and therefore you will definitely be requiring some travel health insurance, just in case if something goes wrong.

The premiums are fairly low since it would cover your health only during the period of your travelling, and it is recommended that everyone who is travelling get a policy of this sort to be on the safer side.
