How to buy a good camcorder

Until about a hundred years ago, if you wanted your photograph to be taken, you had to call in a photographer who would bring in his truckload of gear consisting of all those floodlights and a camera that is the size of a small CRT tv. CRT tvs are outdated these days, so imagine how far behind that was.

When cameras got smaller, people started to get fancied about video, and then a videographer to shoot their videos.

Now videocameras have got smaller too, and anyone could go to a store to pick the right camera that fits their palm and their pockets. There are camcorder reviews out there all over the internet which you could go through and pick the right one before you go to a store or order online.

Podcasting of this age

Youtube was started by that chinese guy who couldnt find a medium to share a video he shot at a party. So he just went ahead and made it into a social networking site, which gave birth to the podcasting boom. Looking at the numbers in the check that google gave them to buy out the company, there have been several other websites on the internet that name themselves tubes, hoping that google would buy them out too one day. As of now they are monetizing their traffic with advertisments. Everyone who has a camera to record decent videos are now podcasting on youtube. Most of the times a video would be completely worthless. You don’t get to see high quality lessons there, I have managed to see only stuff like how to enhance your cleavage or how to get a girl and stuff like that. I have seen videos about fish, but nothing so valuable in there. People just use it to pass time. Well, thats what social networking is all about isnt it. Billions of idiots blabbering bullshit.

But a person who is concentrating on his careers wouldn’t really waste time on a social networking site, but would rather do some job searches or search for video resumes that are there on youtube.

Where Does Electricity Come From Part VI

If you can generate electricity from the atoms that are invisible to the naked eye, you can make electricity with air as well.

You see, all that you need is a rotational energy, from any source that is available. You just need to spin the shaft of the generator if you need electricity from it. In open land in many places around the world, you can find wind farms, giant fans spinning in the air to produce electricity.

If you think that my reviews stink, you can always click on the title to find out what Wikipedia has to say about it.

Wind Farms

Induction Generators, mounted on a thick pole attatched to a huge 3 blade fan thru a gear system can be found in large herds at wind farms.

As it is connected thru a gear system, if you are into mechanical engineering, of if you have owned a Geared Cycle, you might know that when a bigger gear tries to spin a smaller gear, it will take a lot of energy initially, and once it picks up speed, it will be fine, and the conversion of energy is good.

Thats why these wind power systems are installed with Induction Generators. The generator, is ideally an Induction motor, and when it rotates faster than what it is intended to, ie. the sync frequency, it generates electricity, and feeds it back to its supply cables, and thus acts as a generator. The Fan blades are given the initial spin when the generator acts as a motor, and then the wind takes over to spin the fans and when the speed of the rotor of the induction motor exceeds the sync frequency, it starts generating Power.

The speed, as in other alternators, is the key to the frequency sync, and the voltage, and that is monitored and maintained by microprocessors that control the fans speed so that a perfect match is there when the generator is connected to a Common Bus.
