Wow. Imagine the lazy me, staying up until 3 AM, and writing about a Tamil movie.

Everyone around me knows how I hate Tamil movies. There are good ones ofcourse, but almost all of them are slightly out of my taste. Maybe its because I fancy calling myself a Hindi or an English movie buff.

Friday night, stopped drinking, living alone,  nothing to do, not many to chat with online, so I had to turn to TV. Watched 2 Hindi movies earlier this night, and browsing thru a thumb drive that I had borrowed from a friend earlier today, and had brought it home forgetting to return it. and found the Divx of the movie Unnale Unnale.

The new hero came around, Sada, the heroine came along and slapped him, and Raju, the choreographe, the hero, and another guy sing the almost beautiful song June Ponal July Katre. What the hell, june ponal july katre? I didnt like that song earlier, however, the direction and the camera was good. I must say, very good.

I dont want to describe the full movie here. I will tell you the ‘Saaramsham’. Mix Hum Tum, Salam Namaste, Dil Chahta Hai, and Kal Ho Na Ho, and you get Unnale Unnale.

Watch the movie and find out more. The story is crap as usual. Friendship, love, romance, seperation, Jelousy and fuck. Nothing new. But somehow, the way the movie was taken as impressed me as of now. Maybe I will repent tomorrow for staying up so say for a stupid movie like this.

Direction is great. Cool camera, Great Australia. Lovely. Tamil Movie Industry is evolving. If only they could change the usual story line, it would be a Milestone.

Go ahead and watch the movie. Worth a watch if you understand Tamil.

By the way, I cant beleive the Shivaji topped charts in the UK. That movie stinks. Yuck. I would settle for stupid Chinese Movies to this.
